Limerick Reactor Back Online After Valve Closure
The outage had no impact on electrical service to regional customers, officials said.

Unit 1, a nuclear reactor at Limerick Generating Station, returned to full power on Friday, Exelon Corp. said.
The reactor was taken offline around 9:40 p.m. Monday after a valve on one of the main steam lines closed, officials said, adding that all the equipment responded as it was supposed to.
The valve in the steam line has been repaired, officials said. The outage had no impact on electrical service to regional customers.

Limerick Generating Station, about 20 miles outside of Philadelphia, produces enough power for 2 million homes, parent company Exelon Corp. said.
