Local Hero: Nancy Diguiseppi

LIMERICK, PA — When times are tough, heroes emerge.

We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. Together with Ring, we’re working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.

Local Hero:Nancy Diguiseppi

Home town:Limerick, Pa.

Hero's job: She works in the Limerick WaWa, keeping us fed.

Relationship to nominee: We have been friends for years.

Reason for recognition: Nancy has gone to work every day through this very trying time and has not complained once. She does everything she can to keep us fed and going about our day. And, she is a happy-go-lucky person that should be recognized for helping everyone she comes in contact with.

One thing to know: She is a great person and very helpful.
