Montco Commissioners Go 'On The Road' To Limerick For Monthly Meeting

It's the first time ever the Board of Commissioners will meet in Limerick instead of Norristown.

LIMERICK TOWNSHIP, PA — The Montgomery County Board of Commissioners is taking their bimonthly meeting "on the road" to Limerick Township this week as part of a new initiative to reach more constituents.

The 6 p.m. Thursday meeting, almost always held at One Montgomery Plaza in Norristown, will instead take place at the Limerick Township Building on 646 W. Ridge Pike.

The meeting is open to the public to attend.

In addition to regularly scheduled items, the Board will participate in a "Stop the Bleed" presentation given by David Brown of the Department of Public Safety and Al Davey of Narberth Ambulance.

The presentation, in conjunction with Save a Life Day, aims to educate on how to provide life-saving care from a serious bleeding injury.
