New Ace Hardware To Open Up On Lewis Road

ROYERSFORD, PA — Whlie the local economy is hurting, a new business has plans to hold its grand opening next week.

The new Ace Hardware will open up its doors on 301 N. Lewis Road on Thursday, May 14.

As a home improvement store, Ace Hardwares are considered essential, and other branches have remained open through the coronavirus-related closures.

"Once we do open, our team will be wearing masks and abiding by the CDC standards," the store said in an announcement in April. "Extra time will be spent cleaning and sanitizing so we stay safe and you stay safe. Online ordering, delivery and curbside pickup will be available."

The store is also hiring for full time and part time employees. Prospective applicants are encouraged to apply in person.

The store's hours are set for 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Sunday.
