New Youth Esports Facility Opens In Royersford
The facility is the first of its kind in Montgomery County.

ROYERSFORD, PA — A new youth esports training arena is opening up in Montgomery County.
Valhallan Esports Training, located on 329 10th Avenue in Royersford, will open up its doors on Saturday, Dec. 21, organizers told Patch.

“We’ve worked hard to create a special space where kids feel empowered to take their love for gaming to the next level, owner Serge Fadjoh said. "We want to be a positive and safe way for parents to support their children’s passion for gaming while incorporating education and life skills."
Valhallan, which has other locations around the country and in the United Kingdom, describes itself as "the fastest-growing esports franchise in the world." Their mission statement focuses on encouraging education and life skills through gaming.

The grand opening will feature an open house from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Children aged 7 to 12 will receive gaming priority from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and teenagers from 13 to 17 will have priority from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
There will also be numerous giveaways and promotions, as well as public information sessions on features of the facility.
