No Charges Filed in Royersford Train Crash
A vehicle stalled while turning around on tracks near midnight on June 5; no charges have been filed against the driver.

No charges have been filed against the man whose vehicle was struck on the Norfolk Southern train tracks in Royersford on June 5 after he stalled while turning around on the tracks; the man was able to escape the vehicle before impact.
The man was traveling west on Main Street around 11:30 p.m. when he attempted to turn around at the Railroad Plaza to get to the French Quarter Bistro, according to police, who believe he inadvertently made a righthand turn onto the train tracks instead, where his vehicle stalled.
The train struck the vehicle after the driver escaped; the vehicle was shoved roughly 100 yards down the train track, according to police.
Acting Royersford Borough Police Chief Thomas Nerlinger said the man was not suspected to be driving under the influence at the time of the crash.
