Obituary: Elfie M. (Ebersoldt) Clevenger, 78

Elfie M. (Ebersoldt) Clevenger, 78, wife of the late Donald B. Clevenger Sr., of Audubon, passed away on Monday, July 23, 2012, in the Mercy Suburban Hospital.  Born in Munich, Germany, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hermann Ebersoldt.

Mrs. Clevenger enjoyed reading, crosswords, dominos and skip-bo.  She loved to cook and entertain.  She would always watch the news for current events, but also enjoyed the history and cooking channels.  Most of all, Elfie loved taking care of her grandchildren. 

Mrs. Clevenger is survived by her three children, Rhonda Lee, wife of Steve Behe, of Honeybrook, Donald B. Jr., husband of Madeline Clevenger, of Collegeville, and Richard E. Sr., husband of Michelle Clevenger, of Perkasie; five grandchildren, Kyle, Danielle, Nicole, and Richard Clevenger Jr. and Emily Cutler; and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at the Valley Forge Baptist Temple, Route 113 and Black Rock Road, Collegeville on Saturday, July 28, 2012, at 11:00 am.  Officiating will be Pastor Ronald Coulton.  Interment will follow in the Limerick Garden of Memories.  Friends will be received from 10:00-11:00 am at the Church.  Memorial contributions may be made in Elfie’s name to the American Cancer Society, 1620 Locust Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103.  Arrangements are being handled by the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home.  Condolences may be offered online at www.RoyersfordFuneralHome.com.
