According to posts on the Limerick Township Police Department's Facebook page, the police are looking into two burglaries in as many days.  The department <a href="https://www.facebook.com/LimerickPolice" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">posted on Thursday July 12</a> that a resident in the unit block (house numbers below 100) of Linfield-Trappe Road reported that someone broke in through a locked screen door.  The perpetrator stole cash and jewelry from the home.  Friday, <a href="https://www.facebook.com/LimerickPolice" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">according to another Facebook post</a>, cash and an antique firearm were stolen from a home in the 1100 block of South Township Line Road. In that case, a locked rear door was forced open. Both burglaries are currently under investigation. Residents are encouraged to report anything suspicious by calling 9-1-1. "The best defense against property crime is a concerned neighbor," police said in their Facebook post.
