ROYERSFORD, PA — Student-athlete Monica Rapchinski has excelled on and off the field.
The Pope John Paul II High School senior and lacrosse star recently scored her 300th career goal, earning her a place among a distinctive class of some her sport's best athletes.
"Monica is an exceptional example of what our student body represents. We are so very proud to have a student-athlete of her caliber to reach this unprecedented milestone,” Pope John Paul's president, Jason Bozzone, said in a statement.

Head coach Maureen Burger called the achievement "simply amazing."
At Pope John Paul, Rapchinski has maintained a 4.0 GPA. She will take her talents to Tufts University in the fall, where she will continue her stellar lacrosse career and major in biology.

Rapchinski is one of 24 Pope John Paul student athletes that will compete at the collegiate level when their high school careers are over.
