Pre-K Counts classrooms opening in Royersford

Pre-K Counts, a state-sponsored preschool program for children 3-5 years old, will open Monday, December 3, at the Royersford United Methodist Church, 380 Church St., Royersford.

YWCA Tri-County Area will operate Pre-K Counts in Royersford; the organization has operated Pre-K Counts in Pottstown since 2010.

Pre-K Counts is designed for pre-kindergarten children ages 3-5; eligible families earn up to 300% of the federal poverty level. Class hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Students receive lunch daily.
