The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that temporary 15-minute traffic stoppages will occur this weekend on Route 422 in both directions between the Sanatoga and Route 724 exits in Lower Pottsgrove Township. The construction will occur from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday for bridge beam placement.PennDOT urges driver to allow for extra time for traveling in the area, and reminds motorists that the speed limit on Route 422 in a construction zone is 40 miles per hour.According to PennDOT, police will set up speed enforcement zones in the area.The work schedules are weather dependent.
