Road Work on 422 Will Slow Traffic This Weekend

Traffic will be stopped in both directions due to bridge beam placement.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that temporary 15-minute traffic stoppages will occur this weekend on Route 422 in both directions between the Sanatoga and Route 724 exits in Lower Pottsgrove Township.

The construction will occur from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday for bridge beam placement.

PennDOT urges driver to allow for extra time for traveling in the area, and reminds motorists that the speed limit on Route 422 in a construction zone is 40 miles per hour.
