ROYERSFORD, PA — Royersford has won a special $250,000 grant from Montgomery County to support the improvement of their downtown.

The funding from the Montco 2040 Implementation Grants will widen parking on Main Street to help draw more traffic to local businesses, install pedestrian-scale lighting, and add brick features to the sidewalk to make downtown more engaging and walkable.

"Montco 2040 is about turning vision into action and these new grant awards are doing just that," Commissioner Neil Makhija said. "From restoring parks to building greenways, we're investing in the future of our communities."
