Royersford Man Beat, Threatened To Kill Girlfriend: Police

Police said he threatened to kill her and choked her until she was unconscious.

ROYERSFORD, PA — A Royersford man has been arrested after police said he attacked his girlfriend and threatened to kill her.

Kito Javon Thompson, 22, was charged with aggravated assault, strangulation, terroristic threats, and related counts.

The incident occurred on Nov. 16 on the 200 block of Washington Street.

Thompson repeatedly punched the woman in the back of the head, legs, and other parts of her body, according to authorities.

Police said that he threatened to kill her and then choked her until she was unconscious.

Law enforcement became aware of the incident when the woman was treated for her injuries at Phoenixville Hospital.

Thompson turned himself into police on Nov. 19. He was booked at Montgomery County Correctional Facility and held on $50,000 bail.
