The 300 block of Washington Street was the busiest part of Royersford on Tuesday night as neighbors gathered for National Night Out.
Many local businesses had tents and tables set up along the block to talk to their neighbors and give items away.
Quite a few tables had free food and drinks donated by local businesses.

The Royersford Police Department was handing out bike helmets and locks donated by local businesses, as well as giving out child identification kits.
Several people estimated the crowd to be about a thousand people, said organizer JR Bach on Patch's Facebook page.

Bach was extremely pleased by the turnout, which he said far surpassed last year's attendance.
"We had no idea there would be this many people," Bach said.
