Royersford Seeking Planning Commission, Zoning Leaders

ROYERSFORD, PA — If you've dreamed of meaningfully contributing to the future of your hometown, Royersford residents now have a chance.

The borough is seeking volunteers for two openings on the Planning Commission and Zoning Hearing Board.

Planning Commission board members review subdivision plans and make recommendations to the borough council on zoning requests and other proposals. Meetings are held the first Monday of the month at 7 p.m.

The Zoning Board hears cases requesting amendments to zoning ordinances, or rulings of the Zoning Officer. They meet on an as-needed basis.

Applicants must have been a borough resident for at least one year and a registered voter.
