Royersford's Pope John Paul II To Compete in State Championships This Weekend

Pope John Paul II's cheerleading squad will take on the rest of Pennsylvania at the state championships this weekend.

ROYERSFORD, PA -- Pope John Paul II High School's Cheerleading team will head to Hershey this weekend where they will compete for the PIAA state championship. And you're in luck as the competition will be streamed live online.

While the team heads to the Giant Center in Hershey on Friday, Jan. 20, you can stay home and watch the youngsters perform online.

The team is set to perform at 1 p.m. a.m. Friday in the preliminary round. If they earn a spot in the finals, they will compete on Saturday, Jan. 21.

The doors for the championship open at 8 a.m. Friday. Tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for students.
