Santa Makes Call To Limerick Fire Chief, Promises Township Stop
Limerick Fire Chief Ken Shuler said Santa is stopping by on Dec. 12.
LIMERICK TOWNSHIP, PA — Santa is busy this time of year, but he's making time for a quick stop in Limerick on Dec. 12 despite pandemic complications.
Santa called Limerick Fire Company Chief Ken Shuler this morning to announce that he will still be making his appearance in Limerick Township this year, Shuler announced on social media.
Shuler said Santa expects to arrive around 9 a.m. on the second Saturday in December.

Santa reportedly told the fire chief he was concerned for the safety of Limerick residents. Shuler agreed and said he and Santa agreed that Santa could ride on top of the firetruck and greet Limerick friends with a wave.
Santa's helpers will not be able to hand out candy this year.

Chief Shuler told residents of Limerick Township to listen for the sirens on Dec. 12 that will alert them to come outside and wave to Santa.
