Spring City Names New Interim Mayor
Former mayor Michael Weiss submitted his resignation earlier this month.
SPRING CITY, PA — Spring City's borough council has selected Adam Alberico, a patient advocate and volunteer firefighter, as the town's new interim mayor.
Former mayor Michael Weiss, who served four terms as mayor between 2006 and 2025, submitted his resignation earlier this month, sparking a weeks-long search.
"I am truly honored to share that I have been appointed interim mayor of Spring City tonight," Alberico said in a statement. "This is a humbling experience, and I want to express my gratitude to the Spring City Council members and all my supporters who came out to support me. It was a privilege to have Former Mayor Kern in attendance as well."
