Spring-Ford Grad, SJU's Gabrielle Vagnozzi, Named To All-A10 Team

ROYERSFORD, PA — Soccer star Gabrielle Vagnozzi, a Spring-Ford grad and sophomore at Saint Joseph's, has been named to the second team All-Atlantic 10 squad after her 2017 season performance.

Vagnozzi, a forward, led the Hawks in points this year with 17, and tied for the team lead in goals with 7. Those marks were good enough for 10th and eighth overall in the conference on the season.

Vagnozzi was one of two Hawks to earn All-Conference honors this year, as her freshman teammate Morgan Bower was named to the All-Rookie team as well.

In her freshman campaign at SJU in 2016, Vagnozzi was named A-10 Rookie of the Year. During her time as a Ram, she led the team to two PAC-10 titles and three appearances at PIAA-states.
