Woman Rescued From Spring City House Fire
Liberty Fire Company responded to an active fire early Monday morning in the 100 block of Poplar Street, according to fire officials.
SPRING CITY, PA — Firefighters rescued a woman from the second floor of an active house fire early Monday morning in the 100 block of Poplar Street, according to a report from Liberty Fire Company.
According to a report from Liberty Fire Company:
Liberty Fire Company Chief Kenneth Bliss Jr. and a crew of three and firefighters were dispatched to the scene at 3:34 a.m. Monday to the scene of an active roof fire.

The fire was under control within 22 minutes.
A female victim, who was not identified, was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital Burn Center, where she is being treated for burns.

Two others escaped from the dwelling and a family dog was taken to a Valley Vet Hospital.
The Chester County fire marshal’s office is conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
PECO shut off electricity and a restoration company was notified to board up the windows.
A damage estimated was not available.
Royersford, Ridge and Phoenixville fire companies, Spring City police assisted.
