Macungie Borough Declares Snow Emergency

Macungie Borough has put a snow emergency into effect beginning at noon Tuesday. The emergency will be lifted at 9 a.m. Wednesday, according to the borough.

The borough opens the parking lots at Macungie Borough Hall and The Macungie Institute for residents who need a place to park during the snow emergency, according to borough manager Chris Boehm. 

Residents who wish to confirm if they live on a snow route can check the borough website, Boehm says.
