Meet A Future Leader In Lower Macungie: Fisola Oyerokun
Patch and T-Mobile have partnered to highlight young people achieving great things in our community.

The future of Lower Macungie is looking bright, thanks to the incredible young people working to strengthen our community. In partnership with T-Mobile, Patch is proud to spotlight future leaders like Fisola Oyerokun, who are making a positive impact in and around Lower Macungie.
Fisola is a 2024 graduate of Moravian Academy and a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 71 who exemplifies leadership and service through his remarkable achievements, including earning the prestigious Eagle Scout rank in 2023. For his Eagle Scout project, Fisola chose to enhance Macungie Memorial Park by replacing the dirt bed in front of its amphitheater with durable pavers. This improvement made the iconic bandshell more accessible for community events, including car shows, musical performances, and theater productions.
“I’d like to give back to the park to help preserve Macungie’s history for the next generation who will enjoy the scenery of the park as much as I do,” Fisola shared in an article published by Moravian about his project.

Pennsylvania State Representative Milou Mackenzie also commended this dedicated Eagle Scout, saying, “We can all be so proud of this wonderful and outstanding young man! We know that he will go on to achieve even greater heights in the world!”
As he pursues a degree in Public Policy at William & Mary, Fisola’s dedication to service and his community will surely continue to shine through.
