Firefighters Battled An Early Morning Residential Fire In Lower Moreland Monday
It took firefighters more than an hour to get the residential fire under control.
LOWER MORELAND, PA β Fire crews were called out early Monday morning to battle a fast-spreading residential fire in Lower Moreland Township near the Borough of Bryn Athyn.
Firefighters with the Huntingdon Valley Fire Company were dispatched to a dwelling fire around 3:48 a.m. on Jan. 24 at a home on the 2500 block of Fettersmill Road.
Crews reported that upon arrival they found heavy fire throughout the home, and that it took firefighters just over an hour to douse the blaze, with the fire reported under control at around 4:50 a.m.

Emergency officials did not report any injuries to anyone involved.
Mutual aid companies assisted Huntingdon Valley Fire Company on the scene.
