LM Downs Devon Prep in Final Seconds in Dramatic Fashion

You can call it a shot or you can call it a pass. It really doesn’t matter. The only thing that does matter is that Lower Moreland found a way to put in that all-important go-ahead basket.

And while it has been senior Demitri Zoubroulis leading the Lions to wins all season long, his brother, Stefan, decided it was time for him to be the difference-maker at the end of a game.

With Lower Moreland trailing by one point and with 34 seconds remaining, Stefan Zoubroulis grabbed a lob from senior Jake Cohen out of mid-air and put in the go-ahead layup to put the Lions up by a point. Devon Prep went down court and had one last opportunity, but its final shot rimmed out, sending the Lower Moreland student section and bench running onto the court in celebration.
