UPDATE: Greenhill Group Withdraws Apartment Application
The Huntingdon Station apartment complex was supposed to be the hot topic at the Board of Commissioners meeting tonight, however, the developer withdrew the sketch plan at the last second.
UPDATE: Feb. 7, 9:43 a.m.
According to Lower Moreland Township, the Greenhill Group has withdrawn its application from the Board of Commissionerβs work session agenda on Tues., Feb. 7.
Greenhillβs attorney advised the Township that based on the information received in the last two weeks they cannot respond adequately by tonightβs Board meeting. Any future plan submission will be sent out through an Email Information Update on the Township website.

It is the Greenhill Group's right to present another sketch plan (different than the original one proposed) at any time, and then the development process would start all over again. At this time, there is no information to say whether or not they will be back with a new plan.Β
For now, it's safe to say there will not be 284 apartments built in the township.

Tonight's meeting will still be held in the Huntingdon Valley Library's Community Room at 7:30 p.m.

The Lower Moreland Board of Commissioners will meet tonight, Tues. Feb. 7, for their monthly meeting. Since the meetingβs main topic β the development of the Huntingdon Station apartment complex β has drawn a lot of attention in the township, the meeting location has moved to the Community Room instead of the .
The meeting starts at 7:30 p.m., and if itβs anything like the , you might want to come early to get a seat.
LM is in the process where the Board of Commissioners and other township officials are working with the developers to come up with the best possible solution to satisfy everyone involved. There could be a number of things from the that will be changed, and that conversation will continue Tuesday night.
