Lower Moreland Police Looking For Juvenile Attackers Who May Have Used Racial Epithet

A group of juveniles attacked a victim recently near the Lower Moreland High School. It was reported that a racial slur may have been used.

LOWER MORELAND, PA β€” Police in Lower Moreland are looking for a group of juveniles who assaulted an individual near the high school last week and may have possibly uttered a racial slur during the course of the attack.

The incident occurred on Feb. 2 off school grounds, but it is believed that the perpetrators are underage, according to a community bulletin from the Lower Moreland Township School District.

The attack took place on Feb. 2 at around 4:30 p.m. on Red Lion Road across the street from the Valley Center Park entrance, according to the school district.

It was reported during the assault that a racial epithet may have been used against the victim.

The community bulletin was released by William J. Miles, who is the principal of the Lower Moreland High School.

Miles is urging anyone with information about the attack to contact Lower Moreland police at 215-947-3132.

Patch reached out to the Lower Moreland Police Department and was told that the investigation is ongoing.
