Lower Moreland School District Website Recognized with State Award

The Pennsylvania School Pubic Relations Association presented the district with an award for excellence and honor.

The Pennsylvania School Public Relations Association (PenSPRA) recognized the Lower Moreland School District in the Website Category of the 2012 annual Education Communications Contest.

According to the PenSPRA website, the organization’s goal is to improve educational communication and support student achievements through systematic, proactive, and responsible public relations programs.

The contest holds 12 categories, from School Calendar to District Communication Plan, as well as Website.

According to the PenSPRA website: “An Award of Excellence is given to the top entries in each of the above categories. Awards of Honor are given to those entries that deserve recognition but receive a score that was not high enough for an Award of Excellence.”

The Lower Moreland School District received an award of Honor recognition. The distinction for this honor goes to Cheryl Galdo, Director of Human Resources/Public Relations; and Sue Casagrand Director of Technology.
