Lower Moreland Student Plays in ESPN Showcase in Florida

Lower Moreland sophomore, Corey Mayer, traveled to ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Florida in early February to play in the Disney Field Hockey Showcase.

Approximately 200 club teams from around the country play on the “ultimate proving ground” to be seen by hundreds of college coaches. Mayer’s club team, the U16 Mystx Force won their pool and then advanced to the Daisy Flight Championship bracket. The Force tied the team that would eventually win the Daisy Flight.
