Pine Road Student Gives Presentation at Nearby Elementary School

As part of the Philadelphia Zoo's Unless Contest, a Pine Road student spoke with other students at Red Lion Elementary.

The definition of a student-teacher just got a whole lot younger. 

Pine Road Elementary student Aviel shared his global warming assembly message with students at Red Lion Elementary School.  The 5th grader is a member of a class that is participating in The Philadelphia Zoo’s Unless Contest. Their campaign is “8 Ways for Better Days,” 8 suggestions for what everyone can do to help lessen global warming. The purpose is to raise awareness of the impact that rising global warming is having on polar bears and frogs.

Pine Road students had previously presented two assemblies at the end of January to their fellow classmates, and now one is taking his act on the road.
