Police Log: Cops Stop Woman with Warrant for Arson, Forced Entry Burglary, DUI
The following incidents were reported by the Lower Moreland Police Department.

April 23 β Burglary β Forced Entry
- 2300 block of Packard Ave.
A resident of the 2300 block fo Packard Ave. called LMPD to report that she came home to find her bedroom heavily ransacked. She said she came in the front door and noticed that a drawer in the living room was open. In the kitchen she saw the back window had been forced open.
A large amount of jewelry was missing and a mahogany chest containing $1,000 in gold US Presidentβs coins. There were also several childrenβs wallets stolen.

One neighbor claimed he heard two loud bangs but did not look outside. Another neighbor said he saw a white male, tall, thin, wearing a gray hoodie sweatshirt, walking around Dale Rd. looking around as if anyone was watching him.
April 22 β DUI

- Area of County Line Rd. & Buck Rd.
Armands Kuplaste, 33, of Southampton, has a DUI charge pending after he registered a .164% BAC. LMPD received a call of a reckless driver in a black Mercedens Benz. He began to swerve in the middle lane of traffic and his back right brake light was out. Police say he displayed signs of intoxication and did not complete field sobriety tests to satisfaction. There was an open Yuengling beer in the center console cup holder.
April 22 β DUI
- Area of County Line Rd. & Somers Dr.
Michael Murray, 42, of Dothan, Al., has a DUI charge pending after registering a .172% BAC. Police first observed Murray on Warfield Drive slumped over the steering wheel of his silver Nissan Versa. A police officer approached the car, but Murray made a turn onto County Line Road. Police saw Murray swerve over the centerline on several occasions, and watched him slam on the breaks and pull over to the shoulder of the road to avoid an accident before initiating a stop.
April 21 β Burglary Attempt
- Infinite Mortgage β 3103 Philmont Ave.
Andrew Horowitz, 43, of Southampton, called LMPD to report that there were pry marks on the front door of the office to Infinite Mortgage and believed someone tried using a tool to break in. Nothing from inside the building was taken.
April 21 β DUI
- Area of Welsh Rd. & Kent Rd.
Dayna Kenny, 21, of Philadelphia, has a pending citation for a DUI after she registered a .129% BAC last Saturday. Police observed her car traveling too close to the car in front of her and saw her car swerve multiple times in the other lane along Pine Road.
When the police stopped her, the cops saw an open can of Bud Light in the center console cup holder. Kenny was not able to complete field sobriety tests to satisfaction.
April 20 β Theft
- 2600 block of Philmont Ave.
Salvatore DeCristofaro, 65, of Medford, NJ, reported the theft of fencing from the empty lot of 2637 Philmont Ave. (Sandros Restaurant). DeCristofaro told police he saw that four pieces of the 12x6 chain link fence was missing. It appears the actors removed three pieces of frence from the area next to Adcockβs Pools Supply. Additionally, one piece was removed from the Philmont Ave. side.
April 19 β Warrants
- Area of Red Lion Rd. near Murray Ave.
Grarzyna Trefon, 56, of Philadelphia, was pulled over on a traffic stop for having expired emission stickers. While conducting a check, an active bench warrant out of Philadelphia for βArson-Danger of Death of Bodily Injuryβ was discovered. The warrant was listed under an alias and had her real name as the alias, but the social security and birth date matched. Trefon also goes by the names Grace Trefon and Grace Grefom. She admitted that arson was something she had previously been arrested for, but she had taken care of the problem βseven to 10 years ago.β She was taken into custody without incident. She remained in custody at LMPD before Philadelphia PD came to transport her.
April 17 β Theft
- Penn Valley Industrial β 2727 Philmont Ave.
Alfred Meier, 71, the owner of Penn Valley Industrial, reported that between April 16-17 unknown actors stole miscellaneous items from the rear of the business. All of the items were taken from the outside. The items include: two pairs of forks from a fork lift ($500). Also taken was an Exide battery charger, which weighed 500 pounds. A dumpster half filled with scrap metal was also emptied. It is believed that multiple actors were involved because of the weight of the missing items.
