Police Log: Forced Entry Burglary, Multiple DUI's, Horseplay at Oh! Bryon's

The following incidents were reported by the Lower Moreland Police Department.

January 17 – Burglary – Forced Entry

  • 3400 block of Hillside Drive

Anna Abgaryan, 28, of Huntingdon Valley, called LMPD after she discovered her rear sliding glass door had been standing open and her dining room window was partially open. Abgaryan saw her flat screen TV had been removed from the wall mount.

Police did a check of the house but yielded negative results. They were unable to get fingerprints from the door. According to reports, the incident was believed toΒ  happen days ago because the areas of entry were muddy because of the rain but had no fresh footprints.

January 15 – Disorderly Conduct

  • 2895 Pine Rd. – Oh! Bryon’s Roast Beef

Antonio Gallelli, 25, of Philadelphia, will be charged with Disorderly Conduct after discharging a fire extinguisher on the second level of Oh! Bryon’s Roast Beef. Gallelli was with Joseph McGuffin, 25, and the two of them ran down the stairwell after the extinguisher was discharged, and then hopped the fence and re-entered the bar as if nothing happened.

Gallelli at first denied having anything to do with the act, but after officers observed the extinguisher dust/powder all over the him, Gallelli finally admitted to it.

January 15 – Vandalism

  • 3100 block of Maple Rd.

Michele McQuoid, 36, of Huntingdon Valley, called LMPD to report vandalism to her cars and mailbox. This happened sometime Friday night between 2-8 a.m. The cars had numerous obscene words and images written on them in different colors. The actors used some type of liquid wax applicators like those used by car dealerships to write things on the windshield.

The mailbox was knocked off the post but no evidence was found to determine how it was done. No damage was done to the mailbox other than breaking the mounting screws.

January 15 – Criminal Mischief

  • 3200 block of Maple Rd.

Bill Stewart, 58, had a similar incident where his mailbox was knocked off the post after being struck by an unknown object. Other thanΒ  dent, the box was not damaged. Bill said he would repair it and mount it back on the post.

January 15 – DUI

  • Area of Welsh Rd. & Valley Rd.

Linda Lopez, 32, of Mohnton, was arrested for DUI. Police responded after she was in an accident and three of her tires were flat. Lopez told police she ran over a rock. According to reports, Lopez displayed signs of β€œheavy intoxication,” her eyes were red and glassy, and her account of the crash did not match up with the damage to her car.

She told police she does not have a valid driver’s license and the Dodge she was driving was registered to Cassandra Murray in Florida.

Lopez was extremely uncooperative and tried to kick LMPD officers as they attempted to put her in a juvenile holding cell. Lopez couldn’t arrange for someone to pick her up at the station, so she was transported to Abington Township Police Department. While in the back of the police car, she began to intentionally strike her forehead against the Plexiglas partition between the front and back seats.Β 

January 13 – DUI

  • Area of Byberry Rd. & Pine Rd.

Asel Sadekova, 21, of Philadelphia, was arrested for DUI after being involved in a 3-car crash on Byberry road. When police showed up, Sadekova did not pass any of the field sobriety tests and registered a .147% BAC.

The other people involved in the accident, Kuri Meleqe, 52, and Leonard Morris, 39, both told police they were stopped at a red light for not even a minute when they were rear-ended.Β 

January 13 – DUI

  • Area of County Line Rd. & Somers Drive

Lane Schwartz, 32, of Philadelphia, rear-ended another car on County Line road near Just-A-Farm neighborhood. When police arrived, Schwartz had signs of impairment. He spoke with slurred speech and was unstable on his feet. Schwartz admitted he takes several prescribed medicines. Schwartz didn’t complete any of the field sobriety tests satisfactorily, and was arrested and advised of Implied Consent.
