Police Log: Heroin User Gets DUI, Synthetic Pot Found, and More
The following incidents were reported by the Lower Moreland Police Department.

January 26 β DUI
- 3500 block of Brae Bourn Drive
James Patrick, Jr., 51, of Huntingdon Valley, was arrested for DUI after officers observed his car had an expired registration. Patrick pulled into his driveway and LMPD issued a stop. Patrick began to stagger out of his car when police questioned him.
Patrick said he had three or four beers before driving. He also admitted to being charged with a DUI two years ago. Miller failed field sobriety tests and registered a .20% BAC.

January 26 β DUI
- Area of Pine Rd. and Sunflower Way
Yuri Miller, 60, was arrested for DUI after police responded to an accident where his car drifted from the right side of the street to the left side and skipped over the curb. When police arrived, Miller was unconscious and slumped over the steering wheel.

When police woke Miller up, Miller was extremely uncooperative. He refused to complete any field sobriety tests and gave officers the middle finger and said, βF*** you,β when police asked him about the accident.
Miller was transported to Holy Redeemer Hospital where two tubes of his blood were drawn. Miller was again uncooperative in the hospital and again used profanity saying, βF*** you,β numerous times in the hospital and in front of children.
January 26 β DUI
- Area of Terwood Rd. and Creek Rd.
Nicole Lebens, 28, of Chalfont, was arrested for DUI after she was involved in a one-car crash on Terwood Rd. colliding with a telephone pole. When police arrived on scene, they observed her mannerisms to be slow, her eyes were glassy and her pupils were pinpoint.
Lebens admitted to police that she recently used Heroin and another prescription pill. Lebens was admitted to Abington Hospital, where nurses found two hypodermic needles in her purse.
January 20 β DUI
- Area of Pine and Welsh Rd.
Brian Wilson, 31, of Huntingdon Valley, was arrested for DUI after crashing his car on to a property along Welsh Rd. Police arrived and found heavy front-end damage to his car. Wilson told police he wasnβt sure what happened to cause the accident, and police detected a strong odor of alcohol coming off his breath. His eyes were bloodshot and glassy, according to the report.
Wilson told the officer he was on his way home from Parx Casino and had a beer or two. Wilson had a laceration on his nose from the accident.
January 19 β Narcotics Possession
- Valley Sunoco β 2883 Philmont Ave.
Terrell Wilson, 28, of Feasterville, and Jennifer Vicari, 41, of Bensalem, were charged with Disorderly Conduct after being stopped in the Valley Sunoco parking lot while rolling a blunt filled with marijuana. The gas station was closed but LMPD saw two people sitting in a car in the parking lot with its headlights off.
The car belonged to Vicari, but Wilson was the driver. It was later discovered that Wilson does not have a valid driverβs license and his previous license was suspended. Police smelled pot in the car and the driver and passenger both admitted to rolling the blunt. There was also a bottle of Petrone found in the car, but preliminary breath tests showed no alcohol on their breath.
January 18 β Narcotics Possession
- Dentex Dental Mobile β 3000 block of Franks Rd.
Eduard Zancanaro, 20, of Philadelphia, and Anastasiya Kucheruk, 19, of Philadelphia, were both issued Disorderly Conduct citations after a police officer found the two to be in possession of K2, a synthetic form of marijuana or fake pot.
K2 is classified as a DEA Schedule I Controlled Substance, and is illegal to have it in your possession. Because of their cooperation with the police, the two were issued citations in lieu of misdemeanor charges.
Zancanaro and Kucheruk were sitting in the parking lot of Dentex Dental Mobile after the store was closed.Β They handed over a jar with the words βAcuna Matataβ on it, which was holding the K2. They were using a makeshift smoking device made out of a plastic bottle.
