Police Officer Rescues Baby Deer In Montgomery County

HORSHAM, PA -- A Horsham policewoman recently responded to a different kind of call.

Officer Ngo, pictured above, was called to handle a report of a deer lying on the side of the road, Horsham community police services said in a Facebook post:

Much to her surprise, upon arrival the deer was very much alive. Officer Ngo was very concerned that the small fawn may fall victim to a dog, car or other predator. She returned the deer to a near by wooded area where we hope Mamma deer was waiting for her wayward fawn.

Well done, Officer Ngo!
