Burglary Reported After Footprints Found in Snow

The Lower Moreland Police Department was contacted on March 8 after a Huntingdon Valley resident discovered his detached garage was burglarized on the 3600 block of Holt Lane.

The resident told police he saw footprints in the snow leading up to the side door of the garage. He noticed the side door was open, and the footsteps led back down his driveway. He admitted the door wasn’t locked, but said it was closed.

A stolen property sheet was left for the resident, who wasn’t sure at the time if anything had been taken from the garage.
