A Montgomery County-based rescue organization helped save dozens of pups this week. More are still available for adoption:

SKIPPACK, PA β€” A Montgomery County-based rescue organization helped save dozens of pups this week after the hounds caught a flight from the Bahamas.

A total of 41 dogs arrived Sunday thanks to Rylie's Rescue, a Skippack-based foster dog rescue organization.

Rylie's said they prepared for "months" for the arrival of the dogs. A total of 18 of them were adopted on the spot by families that had picked them out of a lineup long before their arrival.

"We have so many more who still need homes!" they shared Monday.

The dogs had lived in a shelter in the Bahamas prior to their arrival, and had minimal resources for care and exercise.
