Alleged Skippack Killer Made Prior Threat on Twitter

In a tweet dated May 3, 16-year-old Tristan Stahley sent an implied threat to a a female user because he believed she called him a "psycho."

The Skippack teen who has been charged in the stabbing death of 17-year-old Julianne Siller had previously made an implied threat to another female after she allegedly called him a "psycho" on Twitter.

The accused killer, identified as 16-year-old Tristan Brian Arthur Stahley, used his @TristanStahley account to convey implied threats to a friend of his girlfriend's on May 3, according to his Twitter page. When the user apparently called him a "psycho," Stahley fired off a series of tweets, including:

  • @XXXXX say it to my face . I know you won't
  • @XXXXX swear I won't stab you . Just say it to my face if your not afraid
  • @XXXXX SAY IT TO MY FACE .you said your not scared

The remainder of his tweets are fairly unremarkable, seeming to capture the typical highs and lows of teenage life.

Stahley was charged with first and third-degree murder on Sunday afternoon, following the discovery of his girlfriend's body along at trail at Palmer Park on Saturday night.

Stahley and Siller were overheard arguing at his home on Rittenhouse Lane, before they left the home and drove to Palmer Park on Saturday night, according to a press release from the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office.

The two of them continued their argument while walking the trail, when Stahley allegedly stabbed Siller in the throat, and continued to repeatedly stab her before dragging her body to a wooded area nearby, the report states.

He then returned to his home, and allegedly informed his parents that he had killed his girlfriend, according to reports.

Pennsylvania State Police were dispatched to the Stahley home at roughly 10 p.m. for a report of a disturbance, where they found Tristan and his father involved in an altercation in front of the house. Tristan was taken into custody, and minutes later, police discovered Siller's body in the park.

According to the press release, Siller's cause of death was multiple stab and cutting wounds, and the manner of death was ruled a homicide.

Siller was set to graduate from Spring-Ford High School in less than three weeks.

Following Sunday's arraignment, Stahley has been remanded to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility without bail.
