Body Of Unidentified Baby Buried In Montgomery County

The child known only as "Baby Boy Doe" was laid to rest at a recent ceremony. Rest in peace.

NORRISTOWN, PA -- The body of an unidentified baby found dead in the borough in October was buried in a ceremony January 21.

Employees at the Norristown Sewer Authority reportedly found the body on October 6.

Authorities estimated the baby to be 19 weeks old at the time of death, according to the Times Herald.

Investigators were not able to determine the baby’s identity nor the parents of the baby during the course of their investigation, the report states.

St. Patrick’s Church and Caramenico Funeral Home donated their services to help defer the costs.

A statue of an angel was reportedly placed at the base of the grave.
