
A bomb squad was called to examine a suspicious package that Montgomery County Courthouse security found by the courthouse loading dock around 12:15 p.m. Thursday in Norristown.
The package, which authorities exploded and rendered safe, was examined by the bomb technician. According to Corporal Rick Miles of the Sheriff’s Department, they found no explosives but are still in the process of examining the package.
According to Lt. T.G. Thompson of the Sheriff’s Department, the package was a sealed cardboard box in an area of public access.
