Germantown Pike To Be Shut Down For Emergency Work Tuesday
Impacts from the recent rainstorm will lead to a closure of the main thoroughfare this week.
LOWER PROVIDENCE, PA β Last week's heavy rain and flooding will require local officials to shut down Germantown Pike on Tuesday for emergency cleanup work.
The bridge, which carries traffic over Skippack Creek, will be shut down in Lower Providence from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, April 9.
A large amount of debris has collected on the upstream side of the bridge in the wake of hte recent storm.

Traffic will be detoured during the work and there will be no through traffic.
