Lower Providence Historical Society Hosts Fundraiser for Casselberry House

The Lower Providence Historical Society will hold a Fall Fundraiser for the historic Derrick Casselberry House at Chadwick’s at The Club at Shannondell on Nov. 9 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m., according to the society’s website.

The Casselberry house and farm in Lower Providence are over 260 years old, and used to function as the Casselberry family’s farm and tannery, according to the website.

Tickets are sold at Chadwick’s both before the event and on the day of the event. Members of the Lower Providence Historical Society are selling them, as well.

There will be raffles and prizes at event. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children under the age of 12.

There are sponsorships available as well, and sponsors’ names will be on display on the society’s website and at the breakfast. A platinum sponsorship is $1000 (with six tickets), a gold sponsorship is $500 (with four tickets), a silver sponsorship is $200 (with two tickets) and a bronze sponsorship is $100 (with one ticket).

Chadwick’s at The Club at Shannondell is located at 2750 Egypt Road, Audubon, PA.
