Lower Providence Invites Young Nature Photographers To Contest
The township's parks and rec department is partnering with the Lower Providence Optimist Club for a month-long photo contest for youngsters.
LOWER PROVIDENCE, PA β Budding nature photographers in Lower Providence are being sought for an ongoing photo contest.
The townshipβs parks and recreation department, in conjunction with the Lower Providence Optimist Club, are in the midst of hosting their month-long photo contest for young residents in the area.
The contest, which runs now through Aug. 31, is open to young people in two age groups: those ages 11 to 18 and those 10 years old and younger.

Organizers are encouraging photo contest participants to submit scenic nature photos, particularly those shots snapped at any one of the township parks, including Eagleville Park, Eskie Park, Hoy Park or Dell Angelo Park.
Amazon gift cards will be given out as prizes for those coming in first and second place in both of the age categories. First place will win a $50 gift card while second place will take home a $25 gift card.
