Lower Providence Names New Public Works Crew Leader

LOWER PROVIDENCE, PA — Lower Providence Township has announced a promotion in the public works department.

Longtime local public servant and widely respected local man James Alexander is the new crew leader of the department.

A lifelong member of the Lower Providence Fire Department, Alexander has earned respect across the board.

"With his broad knowledge and experience (he) will help lead the department in the years to come," the township said in a statement Wednesday.

Alexander has been employed with the township is some capacity for 18 years.
