Lower Providence Police Warn Residents to Close Garage Doors
During warm weather, thefts from garages increase.

The Lower Providence Township Police Department took to Facebook Tuesday to remind residents to keep their garage doors closed overnight.
“With the warm weather here, the Lower Providence Police Department would like to remind residents to keep their garage doors closed overnight,” the post said. “During this time of year, we see an increased number of theft from garages.”

The department noted an incident on May 30, in which a resident on the 100 block of Evans Road had a mountain bike stolen from a garage.
“Please be vigilant and report suspicious activity immediately,” police said.
