Lower Providence Wawa Sells Lotto Ticket Worth $3 Million

The Wawa in Trooper was one of two Montgomery County retailers who sold big payoff lottery tickets last week.

LOWER PROVIDENCE, PA — Two lucky lottery players won big last week in Montgomery County.

News reports said the Wawa located at 705 South Trooper Road in Lower Providence sold a scratch-off ticket worth $3 million last week, and the Giant Foods supermarket at 1925 Norristown Road in the Maple Glen section of Upper Dublin Township sold a Lottery Cash 5 with Quick Cash ticket worth more than $850,000.

The Wawa will reportedly receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket while the Giant is expected to receive a $5,000 bonus, news reports stated.
