Lower Providence's Level Road Will Be Closed For Road Work Friday
Officials hope the work will improve the road's safety during the wet, wintry months.
LOWER PROVIDENCE, PA — Road work will shut down Level Road in Lower Providence for a time on Friday, the township announced.
The road will be shut down after 9 a.m. between Arcola Road and Stoughton Road.
Officials estimate the work will be completed in less than a day.

Crews will be milling the road to create a rougher surface. The goal is to provide additional traction for the coming wet and wintry months, officials said.
Flaggers will be in place to control traffic.
