Methacton Girls Soccer Receive National Recognition For Sportsmanship
They are one of only 25 schools nationwide to receive the rare award. Congratulations, girls!

PHOENIXVILLE, PA -- The Phoenixville girls soccer team has been recognized for outstanding sportsmanship by a national governing body for the sport.
The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) recognized both Phoenixville and Methacon as recipients of the NSCAA Team Ethics and Sportsmanship Award, according to PA Prep Live.
It’s Phoenixville’s third straight year of winning the Silver Award, given to schools who only receive a minimum amount of yellow “caution” cards, the report states. Phoenixville girls received only two in their 19 games last season.
