Methacton School District Approves New Contracts
The contracts included an agreement with the Methacton Administrators Organization
According to the Times Herald, the Methacton School District approved several new contracts at the Aug. 28 regular Methacton School Board meeting.
Among the contracts was an agreement with the Methacton Administrators Organization (MAO), which includes non-contracted administrators, such as directors, principals, coordinators and supervisors. The contract includes a two-percent raise each year of the contract and contributions to the core benefits will be increased. The previous contract’s retirement incentives will not be offered, and contributions.
The Herald also reports that Robert Harney’s change of status was approved by the board from his position as director of labor relations and human resources to the new title of Assistant to the Superintendent for Personal Compensation. Harney will also receive an annual stipend of $14,000.
