Methacton Takes Third at March Madness Cheer Competition

As reported last week, the Methacton Warrior Junior Midget Cheer Squad headed for Harrisburg this Saturday to compete in the 13th annual March Madness competition. The Pennsylvania Elite-sponsored program said over 80 teams competed.

"Talk with any coach that has attended this event in the past, and they will tell you it is one of the best competitions in central Pennsylvania," said the Elite website. "This is why most competitors return year after year."

Of the six squads in its bracket, the Methacton Wolverines netted a third place finish for the all-mat competition.
