Officials Hope To Reopen Eagleville Road Bridge This Month
The project is on schedule to be completed before the upcoming school year.

LOWER PROVIDENCE, PA β The $7.2 million Eagleville Road bridge construction project is set to be completed before the 2019-20 school year, PennDOT recently told the Methacton School District.
The road, which has been shut down since June 24, should be open on Aug. 23 or earlier.
Crews have been rehabilitating the bridge, built in 1935, by replacing existing concrete parapets with stone masonry, resetting the masonry arch barrel, walls, and barrier, and excavating and replacing the arch backfill with lightweight concrete.
