LOWER PROVIDENCE, PA — Township police recently visited middle-schoolers to speak about the importance of having respect for school property and faculty in the wake of a widely circulating social media challenge daring kids to steal from, and vandalize schools.

Lower Providence officers during the past few days have been speaking to all seventh and eight grade students at Arcola Middle School in the Methacton School District during school assemblies this week in response to the “Bathroom Challenge” and “Devious Lick Challenge” that has been made popular on the social media app TikTok.

Lt. Bill Hopkins and Sgt. Mark Stead spoke to the young students about the wrongs of vandalism and disrespecting property, according to a post on the Lower Providence Township Police Department’s Facebook page.
